During the struggle for Venezuelan independence, there were many well-known heroes of the nation, although there are other heroes of the nation who are not as well-known but who equally contributed greatly to the struggle for freedom.

He was a prominent soldier in the struggle for independence. In 1813, he joined Simón Bolívar during the Admirable Campaign, contributing his cavalry squadron. He fought in numerous battles, including Taguanes. He was taken prisoner in 1814, but escaped and joined José Antonio Páez in Apure.

He participated in the Central Campaign, the Apure Campaign, and the decisive Battle of Carabobo in 1821, where he was promoted to Colonel. He also fought in the south with Bolívar, including the Battle of Bomboná in 1822, and in the liberation campaigns of Peru, participating in the battles of Junín (1824) and Ayacucho (1824), where he was wounded. For his actions in Ayacucho, he was promoted to Brigadier General.

Although this great patriot, who was instrumental in the victories of the patriots, is not as often mentioned as other great heroes of independence, such as SUCRE, PAEZ, and even more so SIMON BOLIVAR. However, JOSE LAURENCIO SILVA is also one of the great heroes who fought consistently and decisively in many battles.

This is why street art also pays tribute to him. As you can see, it is a very large mural. I couldn't get a chance to photograph it from a distance in its current location. The main photo is a composite of three photos taken and joined together as best as possible so that the entire mural can be fully appreciated and its beauty can be appreciated. This mural is near the Miraflores Palace on the Via Catia, Sucre Avenue.

Durante la gesta de la independencia de Venezuela hay muchos héroes de la patria muy bien conocidos aunque hay otros héroes de la patria que no son tan conocidos pero que igualmente aportaron mucho a la gesta libertaria.

Fue un destacado militar en la gesta de independencia que En 1813, se unió a Simón Bolívar durante la Campaña Admirable, aportando su escuadrón de caballería. Combatió en numerosas batallas, incluyendo Taguanes. Fue hecho prisionero en 1814, pero escapó y se unió a José Antonio Páez en Apure.

Participó en la Campaña del Centro, la campaña de Apure y la decisiva Batalla de Carabobo en 1821, donde fue ascendido a Coronel. También luchó en el sur con Bolívar, incluyendo la Batalla de Bomboná en 1822, y en las campañas de liberación del Perú, participando en las batallas de Junín (1824) y Ayacucho (1824), donde resultó herido. Es por esto que también el arte callejero le brinda este homenaje, que como pueden ver es un mural muy grande que en el lugar que esta no me dio chance de tomale foto a la distancia así que en la foto principal es una composición de 3 fotos tomadas y unidas lo mejor posible para que se pueda apreciar todo el mural completo y así ver su belleza. Este mural esta cerca del palacio de miraflores en la vía a catia la avenida sucre.
