Unrighteousness is ugly, let us stay away from sin. Everything about sin is ugly. Every work of evil done by men is ugly. Every acts of wickedness is ugly. It is unhealthy to know of a married woman that she is committing adultery. It is ugly to know someone is a criminal. It is ugly to be involved in fraudulent deals. Everything done in sin is ugly.
It is righteousness that cleanses from every defilement. When we accept Jesus Christ and follow his doctrines, he purges us through His Word. The Word of God cleanses us from every unrighteousness. So, when we turn to the path of righteousness, our ugly past is washed away. At the time God forgives us and cleanses us of our sins, our lives become beautiful.
It is a beautiful thing to be holy. It is a beautiful thing to live righteously. It is a beautiful thing to do good to all men. Everything about righteousness is beautiful.
