Faithfulness is the key and faithfulness remains the basic ingredient in every relationship. We must be faithful to our friends and loved ones including our children. We must learn to do what we promise to do. We should be committed to our promises. A relationship with broken promises usually suffers set back.
Keeping our words and vows are essential. It is a virtue which we must strive to acquire. It is not good to promise and fail. Promising and failing is lying. We should not be liars before those who trust us. So, making promises which we cannot fulfill is not good.
There is an advice in the video which is very good. We should rather make surprise gifts to our children when we have the means that making empty promises. A promise which is fulfilled by force is not good. It is better to come home with an unexpected gift that to make a promise wherein you will have to fulfill by force.
