We are the disciples of Jesus Christ. Those of us who believe in him, we are his disciples. We are not inferior to the 12 apostles when talking about discipleship. We are equally the disciples as well as the apostles were. The disciples are all those who believe in Jesus and continue in obeying His words. Anyone who obeys the teachings of Jesus Christ is the disciple of Jesus Christ.
The power of God that worked in the ministries of the early apostles is still available to work with us today. We are able to deliver men from their problems in the name of Jesus. We can cast out devils; we can heal the sick; we can raised the dead; we can make the lame to walk and the blind to see. There is nothing which God did through the hands of the apostles which we cannot do.
As the disciples of Jesus Christ let us stand up and defend the gospel of Jesus Christ as the apostles did. Let us propagate the gospel everywhere as the apostles did. We are equally empowered with the power of God to do the work of God as the apostles were empowered.
