Prayer is asking God a favour to do something which we cannot do. It is a privilege which God gives unto us His children. It is something good. So, praying is a noble task for a christian. We should always pray. We should pray to tell God everything that we want Him to do for us. We should let God know what is our need.
Prayers should not be a casual activity. We should pray aimfully and purposefully. We should not be merely religious about our prayers. Prayers must be done according to God's Word. The Word of God has given us the guidelines on how we should pray.
When we pray, we should be conscious that God does not listen to sinners. The prayers of a sinner is an abomination before the Lord. But God delights in the prayers of the righteous.
There is no one who will receive anything from God without faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. So, when we pray, we should do so out of faith. We should believe that God will do whatsoever we are asking of Him.
