The Lord Jesus Christ, when He was returning to where He came from, made us a promise. This is the most valued promise of all ages. As far back as over 2000 years ago, this promise still resounds in our spirit as if it was yesterday. The promise influences our choices, our thoughts, our words and our actions. We are cautious with whatever we are doing while life endures because of this promise. It is the greatest promise anyone could ever make. That is the promise of a home in heaven.
He said: John 14:2-3 (KJV) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
This is the promise of a home in heaven. The best place anyone could ever wish to go is heaven.
The world is full of many tribulations. He’s our Lord who also told us that in the world we will have tribulations. The world has never given us anything reasonable apart from tribulations. We suffer many afflictions. There is no peace in this world so all we could ever desire is heaven.
To make it to heaven, we must follow the path Jesus Christ took. He is the only one who came from heaven and equally returned there. To make it to heaven, we must follow His doctrines and commandments.
