We have been in the goodness of God. We are living in the goodness of God. All our lives, God has been faithful; He has been so, so good. In every breath that we take, let it be known that we have been living in the goodness of God.
If you and I have been beneficiaries of the goodness of God all along, what makes it difficult for us to show goodness to others? We come from a good God. He is a loving Father. His objective is different from another. He wants everyone to experience goodness. That is why He emphasizes that His children should be doers of good works.
The world is already full of evil doers. The people of the world do not have the conscience for doing good. They are selfish and greedy. All that they are concerned of is themselves. They treat others wickedly. This makes the world to be full of evil. There are so much evil in the world.
It is the commandment of God for us to do good. Jesus Christ came into the world to do good to all men. The Bible says that God anointed Him and he went about doing good. We are his disciples and he has given us this commandment. Let us do good to all men.
