Keeping Promise To Our Children. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW.

in MCGI Cares Hive10 days ago

I was just imagining what could have been the game many of my neighbors played with their children. Sunday was a religious festival of Muslims. In a few days, the christian will be celebrating Easter. During celebration, many parents deceive their children with promises they could not fulfill. Some of them go as far as making debts in the name of satisfying their kids.

Do we really need to practice deception of our children just because we want to stir up false confidence in them? Should we invite debts because of one festival or the other? Should we not teach our children how to learn contentment?

Satisfying our children or family members should not push us into doing things that are not morally good. We should learn to teach our children what the Bible approves of concerning things like this. We should teach them to live and be content with what we are able to offer them. Making empty promises is not good. And practicing falsehood.

I dont think I will be promising kids again. I think random suprises would be better

That's a better idea

The foundation we lay fur our kids is very important because it determines the kind of person they will grow to be in future

Thank you for your comment

Thank you very much for sharing this insight. We need to be indeed mindful of the promises we make without fulfilling them. It can lead to distrust among the kids

Falsehood is not good
