Hoy quisiera acercarles a un libro escrito para niños pero que bien podemos disfrutar todos en casa pues combina fantasía con enseñanza, logrando captar la atención de todos, desde la primera página.
Se trata de "Historia de una botella" del escritor Osmel Valdes
El libro trata de un grupo de niños que sienten sus vidas sacudirse tras su encuentro con un anciano que dice relatar cuentos salidos de una botella que lleva consigo, pero no cualquier botella, sino una botella mágica. El Gaspa, es un viejo extraño. Luce sucio, descuidado y con un cierto aroma, muy parecido al de los borrachos; por lo que "el comando de acción" o sea, el grupo de niños protagonistas, comienza a sospechar que lo de la botella es mentira, no es mágica sino un truco del Gaspa, para conseguir alcohol a través del interés de los niños por los cuentos.
Desde el momento en que interrumpen su juego para ayudarle, los niños perciben algo diferente en aquel señor, sus historias no se parecen a otras que hayan escuchado antes, ni su manera de relatarlas tampoco se asemeja a ninguna otra que hayan presenciado. Cuando las circunstancias del encuentro se salen de control, todo lo aparentemente fantástico adquiere una dimensión diferente e impredecible.
Es así como los personajes se verán envueltos en un universo para ellos desconocido y peligroso, del que nos les es permitido salir hasta cumplir con una condición más importante que sus propias vidas.
Así Osmel logra convertir esta botella comun y corriente, en una botella mágica objeto de diversas aventuras y situaciones increibles, más allá de lo cotidiano.
La botella, del Gaspa se convierte en el hilo conductor de la historia.
A medida que la historia avanza, la botella va acumulando historias que solo dejará salir si la llenan del preciado líquido que exige su dueño, alcohol.
La prosa de Osmel es sencilla poseyendo descripciones que pintan vívidas imágenes en la mente del joven lector.
Su estilo narrativo, es de un ritmo ágil, mantiene el interés de los niños a lo largo de la lectura.
El libro incluye ilustraciones que complementan la narrativa, una experiencia visual necesaria para estimular la imaginación.
Con frecuencia he visto a mis niñas que ya leyeron por si mismas el libro, imaginar que son parte de la pandilla o pidiéndole a su abuelo que le cuente historias salidas de una botella. Porque las imágenes no solo embellecen el texto, sino que también las ha ayudado a vivir las emociones y situaciones que viven los personajes.
Sé muy bien que "Historia de una botella"es un libro para leer con interés, desde la propia dedicatoria el autor deja saber que será un libro íntimo para disfrutar, porque en él el lector pordrá encontrar historias creadas originalmente para enriquecer el sueño de tres niñas; es decir: Ruth, Rebecca y Rachel, tres niñas ocurrentes y terribles que fueron y aún son capaces de idear historias como las que aparecen en el libro.
Es un libro que invita a los niños a cuestionar y reflexionar sobre su papel en el mundo y eso les hace ver la importancia de su existencia porque a los niños hay que haceles sentir útiles.
En mi opinión Historia de una botella es una excelente adición a la literatura infantil, hay que decir que publicado desde una editorial territorial como es Ediciones Santiago, no ha tenido la visualidsd que merece, no es un libro para entretener sino para educar, fomentar valores fundamentales. Es una obra que seguramente quedará en la memoria de sus lectores, pues inspira a ser mejores personas y cuidadores de nuestro planeta, de la vida propia y la ajena. Destaca además valores eticos que se deben inculcar desde edades tempranas como, la empatía, el respeto, la inclusión, la honestidad y la fidelidad, como elementos que rigen la conducta y forman el carácter.
