My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 219 - Amaranth Reflections - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, May 17, 2025

Warm greetings fellow reflection Hunters! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

For my entry in Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 219, I'd like to share a nifty batch of photos that I took yesterday morning, of the underside and backlit (or frontlit, as the case may be) leaves of some Amaranth plants, growing next to the Flow House, reflected in my trusty portable mirror. This is the first time that I've tried to take photos of Amaranth, and I must say that I'm rather happy with how they turned out.

I love the emerald green, and the patterns and contrasts of the veins against it, which makes for a quite lovely composition. I hadn't actually ever noticed the underside-view of their leaves until I took a peek with my mirror, and I'm so glad that I did! I hope that y'all appreciate them as much as I did when I took them! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
