During the monsoon season, it’s super common to see little puddles of water all around—on the roads, in the corners, near trees, or between parked vehicles. And sometimes, if you really pause and look, these puddles almost act like tiny mirrors. They quietly reflect bits and pieces of the world around them—buildings, plants, people walking by, and sometimes even the sky itself.
मानसून के मौसम में, सड़कों पर, कोनों में, पेड़ों के पास, या खड़ी गाड़ियों के बीच, चारों ओर पानी के छोटे-छोटे गड्ढे दिखना आम बात है। और कभी-कभी, अगर आप रुककर देखें, तो ये गड्ढे लगभग छोटे-छोटे दर्पणों की तरह लगते हैं। ये चुपचाप अपने आस-पास की दुनिया के छोटे-छोटे हिस्सों को प्रतिबिंबित करते हैं—इमारतें, पौधे, चलते-फिरते लोग, और कभी-कभी तो आसमान को भी।
This particular puddle caught my eye because it was sitting quietly between two cars that were parked along the side of the road. At first glance, it looked like just another puddle, but when I looked closely, I noticed something really beautiful. The water had formed such a still surface that it perfectly reflected the greenery nearby—some plants leaning over the railing, and the railing itself. And above all that, the sky was making a guest appearance in this little pool of water.
इस खास गड्ढे ने मेरा ध्यान इसलिए खींचा क्योंकि यह सड़क किनारे खड़ी दो कारों के बीच चुपचाप खड़ा था। पहली नज़र में, यह बस एक और गड्ढा जैसा लग रहा था, लेकिन जब मैंने गौर से देखा, तो मुझे कुछ बहुत ही खूबसूरत चीज़ नज़र आई। पानी की सतह इतनी शांत थी कि उसमें आस-पास की हरियाली बिलकुल साफ़ दिखाई दे रही थी—कुछ पौधे रेलिंग पर झुके हुए थे, और रेलिंग भी। और इन सबसे बढ़कर, पानी के इस छोटे से गड्ढे में आसमान मेहमान बनकर नज़ारा ले रहा था।
There were patches where the sunlight broke free from behind the clouds, casting a soft golden glow. And what was amazing is that all of that..clouds, sunlight, the quiet drama of the sky...was right there in the puddle too. It was like a second world, flipped upside down, just lying between two cars.
कुछ जगहों पर बादलों के पीछे से सूरज की रोशनी फूट रही थी और एक हल्की सुनहरी चमक बिखेर रही थी। और हैरानी की बात यह थी कि ये सब..बादल, सूरज की रोशनी, आसमान का शांत नाटक ..उस पोखर में भी मौजूद था। मानो कोई दूसरी दुनिया उलटी हो गई हो, बस दो कारों के बीच पड़ी हो।
