The Shadow Hunting Contest is one of the oldest contests on Hive Blockchain, having run weekly for more than seven years and consistently rewarding outstanding entries, which demonstrates an excellent level of trust.
Let me tell you a secret: you don't need to chase shadows because they are everywhere! 😜
The best thing is that you can do something completely different, and when you see a shadow, capture it. At the end of the day, you'll have a whole bunch of photos! So, pay attention to the shadows and notice them in your activities.

So, what's the story?
Looking through photos from early August in my archives, I noticed that I still had a few pictures of shadows left. Here are some images of shadows that haven't been published yet. I hope I haven't made any mistakes, but if I have, please let me know.
They were all taken on the same day. This is the photo story of one day. Shadow focused :)

First up is the shadow of the balcony fence at my mother's house. We stopped by because it was on our way, and we picked up some potatoes because we store them here.
Actually, the shadow is on my grandmother's house, which is now empty. I painted the railing last year, if I remember correctly.
Then we went on to Croatia, to the island of Pag, and this is the shadow on my car on the ferry. It wasn't even exceptionally crowded. I have a perfect sunshade on the window. What does it say?

I don't know how many people saw it and what they thought, and no one has asked me about it yet, but a little advertising doesn't hurt. It's not obtrusive either.
We arrived at our second home. The shade of the reeds around our caravan on the triangular canopy, which I used for shade in the afternoon, but I brought a new one, and now this canopy will serve another purpose.
I replaced it with two new balcony blinds that I can raise and lower as needed. And the shade of the reeds on the other side of the new sunshade. And even on the fence I put up for Atos.
When I saw the next shadow, I wasn't quite sure what it was at first. A dream catcher, perhaps? But I don't remember us having one here.
Ah, actually, it was something completely trivial. Some stupid gadget bought in a store/warehouse, made of plastic molded in a thousand different ways, intended for drying laundry, or rather, swimsuits. Totally useless, because you can never weigh it down properly.
And then it got dark. On one side, there's a pleasant breeze because I raised the rolls, and on the wooden wall, we have a free projection of bottles on the table. J.J. Cale and JBL provide the atmospheric background.
Ah... I would go back right away.
I think this photo of the shadow is the best one in this post because it tells the essence of the story!
