Lately I’ve been finding joy in spotting and snapping shadows around me, so I decided to join the Shadow Hunters Smash Round 386 contest with a few shadows I captured. All the photos were taken right in my compound and around the neighborhood.
The first shadow I snapped was from a hanger used to hang children’s clothes. I liked how it cast a clear shadow on the ground with the tiny hooks showing clearly. It was in the afternoon so the shadow came out bold and neat. Not far from that, I saw the shadow of a fence outside, and it created a nice pattern on the ground. I really like how fences always give sharp lines when the sun hits them right.
this is my entry photo.
Then I captured a shadow from the back of a parked pickup bus. The shape was strong and wide, it almost looked like a dark painting on the floor. Lastly, I saw a long fence shadow with iron bars stretching along a muddy walkway. That one looked dramatic and unique to me.
Thanks to the Shadow Hunters community for this fun contest.
Hope you all enjoy these shadows too.
