The beach was almost empty that day. The sun was shining so brightly that the sand felt hot under my feet, and every shadow appeared sharp and clear, like a brushstroke on a canvas. I was walking along the shore when the idea came to me – to play with my camera and see what kind of images could be created from simple, everyday shadows.
First, I positioned myself – feet in the sand, hand raised high as if I had just reached the top of a mountain. Later, at home, I decided to enhance the sharpness and play with light balance and colors. That’s when something amazing happened – my shadow on the sand began to look like a night sky full of stars. A simple beach shot suddenly gained a touch of magic.
The second photo is a moment that warms my heart even more – the shadows of my two sons, completely absorbed in playing in the sand. When I look at that image, I don’t just see their silhouettes; I can almost hear their laughter, feel their joy, and sense the carefree spirit of summer. The original version is warm and natural, while the edited one gives the scene a slightly dreamy, fairy-tale atmosphere.
I love these small photographic experiments. All it takes is sunshine, sand, and a bit of imagination to turn a simple shadow into a little story.

Pokaż mi cień – Runda 386 | Cienie na piasku – efekt gwieździstego nieba
Plaża była tego dnia niemal pusta. Słońce świeciło tak mocno, że piasek parzył w stopy, a każdy cień rysował się wyraźnie niczym pociągnięcie pędzla na płótnie. Spacerowałam brzegiem, kiedy wpadłam na pomysł, żeby pobawić się aparatem i zobaczyć, jakie obrazy można stworzyć ze zwykłych, codziennych cieni.
Najpierw ustawiłam się sama – nogi w piasku, ręka w górze, jakbym triumfowała po zdobyciu szczytu. Potem, już w domu, postanowiłam podkręcić ostrość, pobawić się balansem światła i kolorem. I wtedy stało się coś niesamowitego – mój cień na piasku zaczął wyglądać jak nocne niebo pełne gwiazd. Zwykły plażowy kadr nabrał odrobiny magii.
Drugie zdjęcie to moment, który szczególnie grzeje mnie w sercu – cienie moich dwóch synów, pochłoniętych zabawą w piasku. Patrząc na ten obraz, widzę nie tylko ich sylwetki, ale też śmiech, radość i beztroskę lata. Wersja oryginalna jest ciepła i naturalna, a ta po obróbce dodaje scenie trochę bajkowego klimatu.
Uwielbiam takie małe fotograficzne zabawy. Wystarczy słońce, piasek i odrobina wyobraźni, żeby z prostego cienia stworzyć małą historię.
