Yet another episode of shadow hunting. This week I tried something new.
Until now, whenever I captured shadow, I found it to be a light dark color or gray one. Because solid objects will cast a dark shadow only because light can not pass through them.
Today I picked such an object(an empty Sprite bottle) so that the light could pass and cast a nice shadow and preferably a colorful shadow.
I captured the shadow at night and the yellow colored wall offers a profound background for this shot.
Green shadow is amazing as light passes through it.
Another noticeable aspect is that the object is 3D whereas the shadow is 2D. The 3D-2D combo makes the perfect effect for the beholder.
I will experiment more with the transparent object for hunting shadows in the coming days. There should be something innovative and new in each successive shadow hunting episode.
