After I wiped out the floor with water, it almost became a fleeting mirror. Incidentally, the collapsible steel door did not miss the chance to flaunt its reflections upon the wet floor.
It may seem ordinary, but the mundane function produced charming reflections today.
Here, it's the interplay of water and light that produces the delicate reflections of the steel door. The short-lived wet surface has offered me some content to publish on Hive Blockchain. The collapsible steel door has produced the transient echo of its form impressed upon the wet surface.
Reflections are very close to perception and impermanence. Its ephemeral presence talks about the deeper truth of our existence. What we see and what disappears from our vision are relevant. What we see is obvious, but what we do not see may also have some relevance.
Beauty has always been the by-product of the interplay of opposites and on a plane of relativity. The eternal and transient are the two facets of the same coin. Reflection is a testament to this philosophy.
The short-lived reflections, or situational reflections, or a mundane reflection like this, are the unsung poetry of our existence. It's the humblest corner of our contemplation; let's appreciate it.
