Some time ago, during the family trip in December, we stopped by the town of Cervantes for lunch. A traffic officer told us we could park along the less busy street so we did and there, I photographed some reflections I'm sharing today.

Along that street was an abandoned, dilapidated house with a blue concrete fence and green railings. The sight of it reminded me of the urban explorations by Slobberchops. The thought of going into it made me shudder for a moment, imagining what surprises could be waiting inside.

Anyway, I took some more reflections of the things around on the car's windows - the fence and the vines climbing in it, the trees. Even the sky/clouds and the house in the distance were included.

Then I crossed the street, wanting to take a peek at the house behind the yellow fence. Contrary to the abandoned structure across it, this was thriving with various decorative plants and small trees.

After getting a few snapshots, I returned to where our car was, taking pictures of the stretchy blue fence and their faint shadows. Except for a few cars parked far ahead, the street was empty. Not a soul was seen during my photoshoot, not even a dog and I kinda liked it.

Meanwhile, my niece Ahjay was engrossed in watching an anime on her phone, and Yongi was quiet in the front seat, enjoying his snooze time. We were not hungry so we did not go to the restaurant with the fam.
I took some more reflections (mostly of the clouds) on the car's backside mirror. It was midday (almost 1 pm) and the sun was at its peak. I tried finding an angle to avoid its glare but still had it on some photos.

Anyway, we are at Mom's. I have been offline for over 20 hours and will remain so until we go home to DD. I'm thankful that there's a scheduling feature on most of the frontends on Hive, hence this. I am trying to practice the art of unplugging and staying away from my computer or phone, especially in the presence of my loved ones.
Well, I love it! So I dare you to try even for a while too😉
