My Entry for Round 220
Few days ago, i went to Dream Destination to kedarnath so my Itinerary started from Haridwar, Uttarakhand. I Reached Haridwar at 4 o'clock in the morning, but my group journey started at 7 o'clock, so i had 3 hours to roam around the haridwar.
Hari means God and Dwar means Gateway. Har ki Pauri is one of the ancient pilgrimage centers in India , even it is near to my Railway station. So we thought to visit the Auspicious place in Haridwar. Har Ki Pauri is a famous ghat on the banks of the Ganges in Haridwar in Uttarakhand state in India.
According to the India mythology, it is one of the four places where drops of elixir, Amrita accidentally spilled over from the pitcher or Kumbha, in which it was being carried away by the celestial bird Garuda, the vehicle of Lord Vishnu.
In the Early morning, pilgrimage where enjoying the Holy bath in the River Ganga to purify the souls and remove all the sin of the past of your life. Unfortunately i didn't took Bath as i left my luggage in the cloak room, so i don't have clothes to Change after bath. When everyone there was enjoying themselves by taking bath, I was giving rest to mind, felt so peaceful and Calm sitting on the stairs of it. The sound of waves of Ganga was coming from all around and Om Namah Shivaya was being heard in the ears. When I wanted to capture the sights in my eyes, then my eyes fell on these reflections and then I clicked an amazing photo of these and shared it with you people.
