Hello to all my fellow #hive bloggers from around the world.
As I sit in front of my laptop and gaze out my window at the gloomy, rainy day, I think back to a few years ago when we were vacationing in Florida. That year, covid was still hanging around, so we decided to rent a home large enough to accommodate my family. When there are kids to keep happy there's nothing like a pool, of course for the older kids, Wi-Fi is a must, check.
As a #silverblogger who is now retired, I look forward to our winter holiday every year now and the west coast of Florida is our preferred destination. We are truly #snowbirds. Each year I plan 5-6 months in advance on where we will stay and consider whether any of my kids and grandkids are able to join us. Work schedules can be a bitch a bummer.
That year was a winner. Our rental had all that we needed. Cape Coral was where we stayed for the month of February, and it was really grand. We were close to the beaches, food markets and fish houses. Renting this place was a perfect set up for dining at home and keeping the heeby jeezys away from the family.
The Cape Coral home not only has a beautiful pool and hot tub, but the property sat lake front which was not only awesome, but it was entertaining to watch the wildlife that popped up all over this lovely little lake.
As I reflect on that wonderful vacation, the gloomy day here in Upstate New York doesn't seem so bad. Those pictures with #reflections of our family vacation make me so happy. I am one lucky gal.
Thank you, #reflection hunters, and #shadow hunters, such wonderful and fun communities here on hive.
Sending out the love.
