I popped over to look around a holiday village not too far from me. It has 17 self-catering holiday cottages and is situated around a lovely 3 acre private lake and wooded area. I emailed the company the previous day to see if I could walk around the lake even if I wasn't staying in one of the holiday cottages. The answer was a definite yes, so off I went.
This is my entry to the Reflection Hunter's Contest Round 177. Thank you to @olgavita and all of the team.
At the entrance, I spotted a sign saying 'welcome to Karen's Jago'. As Google is my friend, I quickly found out the word 'Jago' means ‘wake up’ in Punjabi. It is a night of celebration of two families held one or two days before a wedding ceremony. Source I had read beforehand that you can get married here. It was a lovely setting for a wedding, especially with it being a sunny day. While I was asking for directions, a young woman appeared from one of the holidays cottages in a red dress down to the floor. I'm not sure if she was the bride but she looked lovely. I thought there's only me who can go and check a lake out and end up gatecrashing someone's wedding!
I didn't intrude for long. At least they had a lovely day to get married, and I managed a few nice reflection photos around the lake.
