Hello dear friend, I hope you are preparing for a new week full of goals accomplished, projects achieved and productive moments. As always, I wish you all the best for these coming days. This Sunday I will finally be able to take a well-deserved rest, a break to recover energies after a very busy, intense and above all productive week.
As I mentioned before, I had to work on Saturday. I had to go to the Sunsol Isla Caribe hotel to perform a technical check-up on the tank of the bottling plant that supplies the entire facility.
I woke up early, as usual, to start the day off on the right foot. The weather was beautiful, with bright sunshine illuminating the sky, although at certain times some light clouds crept in and made it partly cloudy. Still, that did not detract from the charm of the island's always wonderful scenery. The natural and urban views of this place are simply spectacular, a mixture of Caribbean serenity with the vitality of the day-to-day movement of the island.
I arrived at the hotel in the morning hours to do my work. As they had a high occupancy that day, I had to wait a bit before being served, which gave me the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings and take some pictures near the sea. Watching the waves gently moving while feeling the sea breeze was a relaxing experience that helped me start the day with positive energy.
Hola querida amiga, espero que se estén preparando para una nueva semana llena de metas cumplidas, proyectos alcanzados y momentos productivos. Como siempre, les deseo lo mejor para estos días que vienen. Este domingo finalmente podré tomarme un merecido descanso, un respiro para recuperar energías después de una semana bastante movida, intensa y sobre todo productiva.
Como les comenté anteriormente, el sábado me tocaba trabajar. Tenía que dirigirme al hotel Sunsol Isla Caribe para realizar un chequeo técnico en el tanque de la planta de llenado de botellones que surte toda la instalación.
Me desperté temprano, como de costumbre, para arrancar el día con buen pie. El clima estaba precioso, con un sol radiante que iluminaba el cielo, aunque en ciertos momentos algunas nubes suaves se colaban y lo volvían parcialmente nublado. Aun así, eso no le quitaba encanto al paisaje, siempre maravilloso, de la isla. Las vistas naturales y urbanas de este lugar son sencillamente espectaculares, una mezcla de serenidad caribeña con la vitalidad del movimiento del día a día en la Isla.
Llegué al hotel en horas de la mañana para cumplir con mi labor. Como tenían una alta ocupación ese día, tuve que esperar un poco antes de ser atendida, lo que me dio la oportunidad de disfrutar el entorno y tomar algunas fotos cerca del mar. Ver las olas moverse suavemente mientras sentía la brisa del mar, fue una experiencia relajante que me ayudó a comenzar el día con energía positiva.
Finally, the quality department received me and I was able to complete the technical check-up without any problems.
Finalmente, el departamento de calidad me recibió y pude completar el chequeo técnico sin contratiempos.
Once I finished my work, I took advantage of the fact that I was already out of the house and proposed to my husband that we go out in search of some pots. A few days ago a friend gave me two beautiful desert flower plants and she needed the pots because they are still in bags and needed to be placed in good containers to thrive. Our first stop was a place that makes concrete and plaster pieces, but unfortunately they did not have the type of pots I needed. We didn't give up and decided to continue the tour.
Una vez que terminé mi trabajo, aproveché que ya estaba fuera de casa y le propuse a mi esposo que saliéramos en busca de unas macetas. Hace unos días una amiga me regaló dos plantas de Flor del desierto que están hermosas y requería para ella las macetas porque aún están en bolsas y necesitaban ser colocadas en buenos recipientes para prosperar. Nuestra primera parada fue un lugar que fabrica piezas de hormigón y yeso, pero lamentablemente no tenían el tipo de macetas que yo necesitaba. No nos dimos por vencidos y decidimos continuar el recorrido.
Then we arrived at the nursery Las Trinitarias located on Libertador and Fraternidad streets in Nueva Esparta, Isla Margarita. Although they didn't have the pots I was looking for, what we found there was even better: an impressive variety of ornamental plants, of all shapes, colors and sizes. I was amazed, honestly stunned, to contemplate so much beauty gathered in one place. I couldn't resist and ended up taking some small plants that bloom in shades of white and purple. I was planning to leave with pots, but I ended up buying even more plants. You know, those things that happen when you enter a charming nursery... you just get carried away by the green magic.
Luego llegamos al vivero Las Trinitarias ubicado en las calles Libertador y Fraternidad en Nueva esparta, Isla margarita. Aunque tampoco tenían las macetas que buscaba, lo que encontramos ahí fue aún mejor: una variedad impresionante de plantas ornamentales, de todas las formas, colores y tamaños. Quedé maravillada, sinceramente anonadada, al contemplar tanta belleza reunida en un solo lugar. No pude resistirme y terminé llevándome unas pequeñas plantas que florecen en tonos blanco y morado. Pensaba salir con macetas, pero terminé comprando aún más plantas. Ya saben, esas cosas que pasan cuando uno entra a un vivero encantador… simplemente se deja llevar por la magia verde.
With my new acquisitions in hand, we returned home. As soon as we arrived, I set out to find the perfect place for them in the garden. It makes me very happy to see how nature transforms every corner, and even more so when it comes to plants that came to me as a gift, full of love.
This is how my Saturday went: with technical work near the sea, a short trip in search of pots and an unexpected botanical reward that brightened my day. It was a quiet, relaxed and very rewarding day.

Con mis nuevas adquisiciones en mano, regresamos a casa. Apenas llegamos, me dispuse a buscarles el lugar perfecto en el jardín. Me hace muy feliz ver cómo la naturaleza transforma cada rincón, y más cuando se trata de plantas que llegaron a mí como obsequio, llenas de cariño.
Así transcurrió mi sábado: con trabajo técnico cerca del mar, una pequeña travesía en busca de macetas y una inesperada recompensa botánica que alegró mi día. Fue una jornada tranquila, relajada y muy gratificante.
