Happy new week, and new month to my fellow Hivians and to the hiveghana community, I welcome you all to my blog! Surprisingly for you guys, today happens to be my birthday which July 1st, and I'm extremely excited to be here writing today entry with you guys. I know unna go want ask how my day dey go? but trust me is going well and as a matter of fact, I dey enjoy myself💃💃
*I decided to picked my phone while chilling with my friends celebrating my birthday, so I thought of treating one of the hiveghana topic for this week and I picked the one I like most from the topics, which is "HARD WORK"
Sometimes I sit down and just think deep like, is it really just hard work that bring success? Because if we dey talk true, I know people wey work day and night, still nothing dey show for am. But then again, some people go just do small, and boom, doors go open for them. So what’s really going on? Is there something we’re not seeing, or is the whole "hard work is key" talk just half of the story?
Growing up, I was always told, “Work hard and you’ll make it in life.” I carried that mindset strong. I worked hard in school, tried my best to hustle different things on the side, yet I still dey struggle sometimes. But then I see someone with better connections or even just lucky timing and things dey click for them easily. That thing dey pain small sometimes, but it also open my eyes to reality
Hard work is important! yes. You can't just sit and expect things to fall from the sky. But let’s be honest, hard work without opportunity or connection sometimes na waste of strength. Imagine two people wey dey sell same thing online. One get friend wey go help promote am or know somebody wey need that product, the other person dey on their own. You see the difference? One person go blow faster even if both of them dey try
I’m not saying we should depend only on luck or who we know, but make we no deceive ourselves. Life no dey fair all the time. You fit hustle die, and if you no dey in the right place at the right time, or know the right people, e fit take longer for you to see result
But again, make we also no give up. I believe say if you combine hard work with smart moves, building connection, praying (if you believe in that), and just being patient with timing, one day your own time go reach. Just keep pushing and stay prepared, because opportunity fit show up any time
So to me, hard work na just one piece of the puzzle. The full picture get other pieces like luck, people wey support you, and that right moment wey you go just shine. If we understand this, e go help us balance our expectations and keep moving without comparing ourselves too much to others
