First day of skiing this season. Slopes at Gerlitzen in Austrian Carynthia are already open. Icy, especially on the northern side.
Three hours of skiing was enough for the start. Good 26 kilometres with 10 downhill runs. Legs are OK, left knee holds its weight which is great.
Not all pistes are prepared yet . It was quite crowded in the morning but pleasantly empty later on.
At the bottom of Klösterle ski lift heaps if artificial snow are ready to be spread across the slopes.
