Hello beautiful people of weekend experience, I hope you all had splendid and fun weekend?
Well, let me tell you about how I spent my sunday. A friend of mine’s Sister invited my younger sister and I for her wedding that’s holding first week of June but before the wedding holds we had to bridal shower with just the bride, I’m part of the bridal girls and in my country Nigeria it is generally known as “Asoebi Girls”. So we wanted something simple, less chaotic and fun and we went with the idea of *Sip & painting”.

I have always seen videos and pictures of some of my friends, and I will always think to myself that I’d love to try it out oo, and finally the opportunity came to me on a platter as I didn’t even have to spend a dime on the canva, food and even drinks too.
I had so much fun yesterday, initially I had a different portrait, but I was satisfied with colours, and I looked at it that it would be too simple for me, I wanted something that would make me like a real artist, so I opted for another one, The new one really took my time, at some point I started wishing that I wouldn’t have changed the my previous canva, but I really loved the outcome of the new painting though.
I painted my canva for like an hour, initially I thought painting was really easy untill I started working on mine and then I noticed that not all the colours were provided, I had to start recalling on how I was taught about mixing colours in high school to get a new colors and it made me stained my palms with orange and black paint, I mixed the colours to get the clour brown.

The painting under this write up is kind of looks funny, its a simple painting but I guess the owner didn’t put her mind to it, she came late and also wanted to finish very quickly, the painting came out a little chaotic, lol.
