So, what are you buying in the Hive-Engine?
The Hive's unofficial second layers have many tokens, though most of the tokens in the long run either get abandoned or become defunct, and they are now completely useless. But still, there are some tokens that have been able to survive till now. When I say survive, I just mean their development team is still behind them, still supporting the token in some cases, performing further enhancements, and I think let's take a look at them and wonder if buying /earning /holding them makes sense or not. Let's start with this list, and please do note that numbering is in alphabetical order and has nothing to do with my preference.
Let's explore the first token i.e BEE
1. BEE
BEE is the backbone of the Hive-Engine because it is created by the developer of the Hive-Engine, and to my knowledge, the Hive-Engine development team accepts fees in the form of BEE tokens only, making a natural demand for this token. Also, I noticed this token holds an inverse relationship , with it's price in terms of Hive vs price of Hive in USD. If Hive price dropped in USD, it's price in Hive increases or vice versa.
In other words, I can say that if you believe in Hive-Engine and do not believe in BEE, then you must be in some kind of Fool's paradise.
2. BRO
BRO is one of the tokens that I have always wanted to buy but never purchased. First time, when I was deciding to buy BRO, I bought UTOPIS (now defunct and failed project). Next time, I went to buy NEOXAG with a plan to have BRO later, but that also did not materialize. Again in 2025, I was planning to buy BRO, and then I thought to give priority to powering up Hive.
I am not sure when I will finally fall for BRO.
3. CCD
Out of all the tokens I am discussing in this post, this is the "youngest" one. Not sure If I should give it more time to mature?
Anyways, I regularly check their dev updates and increase my stake slowly in this token. No rush from my side.
4. LEO
Not sure if LEO is still the talk of the town or not, but at one time, LEO was the most talked-about and loved token in the Hive-Engine. At one time, it was looking like LEO would keep going up and up.
With LEO 2.0, LEO is going to be on deflationary mechanics with a 30 million overall capped supply. With so many mechanics tried in the last 6 years, the Leo team is now sure that they will hit their objective.
5. NEOXAG.
To be frank, I am a kind of accidental buyer and holder of NEOXAG but I have no regrets about it, when I saw so many dead tokens that I have purchased and now have 0 value.

I enjoyed my time in Neoxian Discord very much, before I took a break from Hive earlier on.
