I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2025 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. The second month is up and there are still 10 months left in the year. I am making slow progress towards my goals and it all adds up.
Progress
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week was looking better than last week, and it all adds up over time.
HP
I earned 86 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. The numbers are much better this week, but I am not sure if it is skewed upwards due to HPUD. I only powered up 10 HP for HPUD, so I think the rest is still better than last week.
HBD
I gained 19 HBD this week and this was better than last week. I will be putting this down into my savings but I might change that around if Hive price goes down more. The prices have gone down a bit with the downturn of the market, but with the news on the crypto reserves, I thought Hive would also bounce back up. I guess it might take some time, but I am tempted to turn that into Hive instead at the current prices.
LEO Power
I earned 23 LEO over the past week. It's a bit lower than last week. Overall, the numbers are about the same as last week. The reserves are still there, but I still think that I need to get more LEO by the end of the year. I don't think those reserves will last forever so I should go back to threads eventually.
Conclusion
My progress is looking decent for now. My HP is slowly going up by around 2% per week and that would be on track towards the goal at the end of the year. As long as I stay consistent, my HP goal shouldn't be in too much trouble. HBD is the farthest along for now and I expect that goal to be the first to reach a stopping point. I want to push it close enough so that the interest would cover the rest of the year, but with Hive price going down, I am tempted to buy more Hive. LEO Power is a bit slower than I would like but I am still earning some LEO each week. It's not that much but at least it's a bit with the buffer that I already had. It all adds up over time and I am on track towards completing my goals by the end of the year. The main worry that I have right now is the new set in Splinterlands because modern fights will no longer support chaos legion when it does.
