It's the first day of the new year and it's also Hive Power Up Day. The second month of the year is over and we are starting March.
Hive Power Up Day
More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the January HPUD post by "@"traciyork. I don't think there are any rewards for doing so outside of the hivebuzz badge. There haven't been any prizes for a long while, but I still think its nice to power up as a blockchain on the first of every month. There is still a little under 20 hours left for you to get your power-up in for that badge, and it is based on UTC time.
My current HP before powering up is 15,523 HP and I plan on powering up 10 HIVE this month. My goals for 2025 are here. The results of this can be seen in the picture below, and here is the transaction link.
Here is my latest update for the Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2025. I am doing well on these goals as the progress adds up over time.
Monthly Goals
Here I will set my goals for the month and review my previous month's goals. I didn't make any goals last month, but my goals will be similar to what I had before. I'll just mention on how well I did compared to my usual monthly goals
April Month Summary
I got my blog post goal and comments without too many issues. I was able to hit my HP goal without too much worries, but it was fairly close. The LEO power goal was also reached, and I didn't forget to power up on the LEO Power Up Day. I was able to buy some LENM last month as well, so it covers the LENM that I needed for the previous 2 months. As for Glint, I was able to achieve my goal without too many issues. I ended up ranking a bit higher last month, and this led to more Glint throughout the season, but it's not that much higher. I am not sure how long I can get that Splinterlands goal or if I should drop it down because the new set will come out soon. This means that my deck will be far weaker.
February goals
I will use the monthly goals as usual and I used what I had last month as a reference as my yearly goals have not been set.
- 3 Blog Posts a week (Actifit does not count for this)
- 15,900 HP
- 12,000 Leo Power Staked
- Buy 2 LENM
- Earn at least 31,000 Glint
Conclusion
As usual, I am just doing my usual activities on Hive at night. It's always good to look back and make sure that my own goals are on track and that I am making decent progress. Showing up each day matters and it has been paying off. I am doing quite well toward my own goals even if HP is slightly behind. So long as I am consistent, I believe that the growth will continue.
