The Government of India has launched a significant initiative aimed at promoting the adoption of rooftop solar power systems in households across the nation. PM Surya Ghar Yojana 2024(PM Solar Plant Scheme),it has been started under the leadership of the Prime Minister of the country Honourable Shri Narendra Modi ji. Through this scheme, a start has been made to promote solar energy in the country. Through this scheme, up to 300 units of free electricity will be provided to the beneficiaries living in the country itself. To be part of this scheme, one must be the resident of India. Even it will provide electricity to crores of houses in the country.
The initiative offers a subsidy of 60% of the solar unit cost for systems up to 2 kW capacity and 40% of the extra system cost for systems between 2 and 3 kW capacity. The subsidy is limited to a maximum capacity of 3 kW. At current benchmark pricing, this translates to a Rs 30,000 subsidy for a 1 kW system, Rs 60,000 for a 2 kW system, and Rs 78,000 for a 3 kW system or above.
Solar Power plant which converts the Light radiation, Ultra voilet rays and heats into the Electricity.The process of electricity production in a solar plant is completely eco- friendly and pollution free as well as being one of the most efficient renewable energies that currently exist Where as energies generated from fossil fuels or non-renewable sources are generating pollution and Even expensive as compare to solar plant.
It is an amazing scheme by the government of India, but its terms and conditions for getting the subsidyl like how many square meters the rooftop should be and subsidy is also available according to the kilowatt, so I don't think anyone would miss this fantastic opportunity. In India,it is the Hot Topic everyone is discussing About to know more about applying for solar power.
I thank our Prime Minister who has released Such schemes for Indian residents. As more and more people are getting aware of the benefits of solar panel plant, it is accepted as alternative to traditional electricity sources, as solar power plant is one time investment only, 60% is now giving by government, living in the small country, there is no companies whicg giving the services of Solar Power plant, if providing then at high price. I have already applied for the schemes, waiting for it approval. There is only one thing on everyone's lips: setting up a solar power plant, everyone is fed up of heavy electricity bill especially during Summer. I think it is smart way to move on to renewable source of energy for houses, industrial purpose.
