Hive has been around for Five years now. I mean it is a big deal especially when you remember where we're coming from and how we got here. I'll say since the move I've had more faith in this platform than any crypto project but of course a big part of that Faith comes from my own personal bias and attachment to it.
A lot of us want to see this platform succeed, perhaps more than even personal accumulations. It makes sense anyways, because the success of this platform largely validates our own personal stake in it. Imagine if we just kept accumulating and the value of the token goes to zero, or the project itself serves no purpose. At the moment we're far off from what I believe is the Hive dream, but for some reason I remain very optimistic about our abilities to achieve our aim.
On a personal front the Hive dream for me has not been smooth sailing. It has certainly had its ups and downs with a lot of the downtimes arising from my rather insignificant stake after all this time. The platform itself though has been an outlet for me, one I use to escape the real World. It has also given me so many lessons to be applied on a daily basis so am rather grateful for that.
While I won't be living the 'Hive dream' at my current level, I certainly do hope we get there. The community as a whole deserves a lot more for the time, effort, sacrifice and synergy we operate. On a personal front I've decided to keep taking things day by day and we'll see how another five years from now pans out.
