I was scammed by the travel agency where they promised me some hotel nights but after giving me 4-5 nights they are not picking my calls for booking more nights. So now my money is gone down the drain. I know these is the hard lesson which I have learnt. But along with that there are many scam happening around in the name of travel.

For example, Kumb Mela is going on in Prayagraj where when I was booking for my parents they were asking full amount at the starting but I have not paid because giving advance is one thing and giving full amount well in advance is not good. And just like that there are too many travel scams happening around.
They wait in the malls and everywhere and thus trying to find the scapegoat. They will lure people by giving free travel and thus we fall for it. I fall for it and paid heavy price. But I have learnt my lessons and hopefully this lesson will be with me always.
So yeah in the name of travel there are a lot of scams happening around the world and thus we have to be vigilant and try not to fall for it. Along with that there is one more scam that the prices of the hotels online are much more than the hotels if you go directly. But usually for the convenience we book online itself.
But I have faced one more problem that I have booked one hotel and after going there they said that there as no booking. This is to extract more money from you, they want you to cancel the online booking and book from them. This way they will earn more and more.
So this is how they will earn a lot of money. And thus these are some of the scams which I have encountered.
