We grew up knowing about the proverb that Money Cannot Buy Happiness. To be honest, this is being told who doesn't have the money so just to give them satisfaction they say this.

But whoever has the money never tells this proverb. This is because they know that the money they have can buy stuff which can give them Happiness. For example, if you are feeling stressed out and if you have the money you can actually go for a 5 days tour which will eventually remove your stress. And that needs the money.
Similarly if you are feeling lonely, just throw a party and thus you will have friends coming over which will eventually remove thar loneliness for some time. So yeah the money will eventually help in one way or the other.
But as a middle class person, you don't have that privilege and always you have the limited number of money to spend on stuff which you like. Like your wants will reduce because your needs are much mostly because you have limited money. Whereas when you have the money your wants can be fulfilled and you will be happy when you fulfil your needs and wants together.
When the family responsibility comes, you cannot fulfill te dreams with the salary. And thus it is said to have an additional source of income which can give you that extra money to enjoy your money and eventually be happy. When you buy stuff from your money that will surely give you happiness. And that happiness will only be received from the money you spend.
