We are seeing more and more couples are getting divorced and the woman is asking for a huge money as an alimony. Now I don't have problem with husband paying the wife's and children maintanace but a lot of girls are making it as a business. Girls getting married for 6 months to 1 years are asking huge money from the husband for the alimony.

Recently Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian Cricket, got divorced after 2.5 years of marriage and he has to pay Rs 4.5 Crore as a alimony. Even though the girls are earning good, the husband have to pay the alimony. Some of the wife's even filed a false accusation like dowry and other things so that they can get huge sum as alimony.
I know not all the cases are false but there are people who make it as a business. Not only the girls, the whole family makes it a business. Recently a techie of Bangalore has done a suicide because the girl family has filed a false case on him and was asking 6 Crore for dropping the charge as well as for the alimony. But since the techie has done a suicide and he has all the proof, the girl and family are in jail now.
More and more cases like these are getting into light which is actually making people having a 2nd thought about marriage. Not all girls are like these, but there are some girl or girls family are making it as a business. And that is making the matter worse for a lot of people. I don't have a data but girls from the villages or girls having middle class family are not that business minded. But the girl who wants to get rich fast does this task. A also heard a story where a girl married 4 times and got divrpced 4 times and got the alimony from all the 4 husbands and living her life. These are making it as a lucrative business for some girls families.
