You constantly hear news about how another auto concern is closing down, or switching to electric car production rails, hybrids are talked about less often, and diesel and gasoline engines have completely died down in the news.
When talking about the efficiency and environmental friendliness of buzzers, the acceleration time to a hundred is often mentioned, yes, people have learned to accelerate cars well, but what about stopping them, for example, on a slippery road?
Acceleration is not something that can be described as Full Control!
But acceleration and timely stopping, this would be a good tandem, but I doubt that anything has changed in this regard.
After the experience of driving a car without an ABS braking system, I firmly decided to switch to a car with an ABS system and....
And I can't say that on a slippery road, ABS gives a feeling of complete control.
For example, leaving the parking lot of a shopping center near the river embankment, at a speed of about five kilometers per hour, I pressed the brake to make sure that there was no passing traffic, but the ice and a slight slope of the road prevented the ABS from stopping the car in time.
I heard the ABS clicks under the pedal, but the movement continued despite the fact that the winter tires were new.
Yes, the car stopped before it met the reinforced concrete ramp of the embankment, but then I realized that no innovations and devices can give a feeling of complete control on the road.
