Today I returned to travel to the largest dam in Bireuen city or also often called the Peusangan dam or Juli dam, and its location is in Juli sub-district. According to several statements from the Bireuen community, this dam is the largest dam in Bireuen city, but about the truth, I don't know. I made this trip at exactly two in the afternoon and the purpose of this trip was still the same as the purpose of the previous trip, namely to find peace and avoid stress.
The location is also not too far from the center of Bireuen city and it only took me about 20 minutes to get to this dam, but even though the location is not too far, the location of this dam is also a little hidden because you have to go through a rural road first.But keep in mind, this dam is not a tourist spot, and just an ordinary dam like dams in general, but still many visitors come to this place, especially in the afternoon. And now let's see my excitement when visiting this dam.
When we first arrive at this place we will immediately see the unique architecture of this building, even its size is quite large, but it is impossible for me to just enjoy the beauty of this building from a distance, therefore I immediately approached the building, and immediately parked my motorbike in a shady place, and after that I immediately started my task of exploring this place.
Before starting my exploration of the dam, I took the time to capture the beauty of the river that is the source of the dam's water first. This river is classified as a large river, even from above the dam area, I could see that this dam is very large and sways my soul.
And this river is also a favorite place for anglers, because according to rumors circulating, there are a lot of fish that are successfully caught by anglers in this river, so I had planned to fish in this river, however, until now my wish has not come true.
After capturing the beauty of the river, now it's time for me to start exploring the dam that is right in front of my eyes.
And to be more satisfied, I decided to go straight up the dam, and to get to the top of the dam we can climb the stairs that have been provided there, because it would be much more satisfying if we could enjoy the beauty of this dam from above.
And as I expected, from the top of this dam I could see the irrigation channels whose water came from this dam and I could see the natural scenery more widely and freely, but of course I had to be careful when I was at the top because this dam is almost 12 meters high.
And on top of this dam I also managed to find a monument and its location is also very strategic.
However, it is very unfortunate that some of the writing on this dam can no longer be read because the writing is old and dirty, so I immediately left this monument and started walking to continue exploring this dam.The beauty of this dam can also be seen from several buildings that resemble roofs to protect the water flow equipment in this dam, and the charm offered by this dam is also very mandatory for me to capture.
But we still have to be very careful, because there are some roads around this dam that are very small, and even look very scary to pass through, because if there is the slightest mistake, it will be a big disaster.
For those of you who are afraid of heights, it is not recommended to climb this dam, because just hearing the roar of the water is a horror that can scare you.
I was able to witness the view that I had missed so much when I was at the end of this dam, namely the beauty of the natural scenery that looked truly amazing.
This is a very large river, the view offered by this place also looks very amazing, but the beauty of this river can only be seen from the top of this dam.And this is my second time visiting this dam, but the difference is this time I visited alone, my feelings while at this dam were mixed, between I really enjoyed the beauty offered by this place and also the horror of this place that made me have to be very careful. But despite all that, I still really enjoyed my trip to this dam.
After being satisfied exploring the upper part of the dam, I immediately decided to go down, but when I was going down, right in the middle of the steps, I looked again at the water in the river, which made me interested again in capturing its beauty.
And the water looks very calm when it flows in this dam building, but don't just look at its appearance, even though the water looks like it is flowing calmly, in fact the water has a very strong current.
And after finishing going down the steps, I got a wider view of the water flowing in the dam, and this is the beauty.
After being satisfied enjoying the beauty offered by this place, I immediately planned to go home, but when I was about to start the motorbike suddenly a man came carrying his fishing equipment, so I took the time to see the activities of the anglers. Seeing the anglers really enjoying the activities they were doing made me really want to fish in this place too, and if later I have free time I will come again to this place to fish
