If we hear people talking about the city of Takengon, maybe they only say that the city is a city of a thousand tours, but it's different when we visit it directly, because the city of Takengon is not only about the many tourist attractions, but its natural panorama is also very interesting to explore, there are so many villages far from the city that may also be highly recommended to visit because of their beauty, one of which is the Pelangi village which is very famous for its colorfully painted housing, and this is what we will discuss thoroughly in this post.

Traveling around tawar sea is always fun to do, even though the distance is quite far, the natural panorama that accompanies us along the way can also be a consideration, for some people who like the beauty and tranquility offered by nature, maybe traveling around tawar sea is one of the highly recommended things to do, and not only that, because we can also enter several rural areas that are quite far from the city center, and if we have enough time, there's nothing wrong with trying it.
In my opinion, natural scenery alone is not enough if we can try many other things such as visiting many remote villages, and there is nothing to worry about, because many villages here are located in the middle of the valley, so the natural scenery can still be seen, but what if we find a village that is quite unique, namely a colorful village.? Isn't that one of the things that must be explored.? Of course yes.
This is my experience when I arrived at the rainbow village, a village that still has a strong sense of tradition but with a modern appearance. The rainbow village itself is a village that is located quite far from the city center, and is also a very unique small village.
No need to worry, the villagers are quite friendly and will definitely greet anyone who stops by this village, and we also don't need to hesitate to take pictures in this village, because the residents here have allowed it and they are even quite happy if their village can be widely known, Manners are the main thing that we must maintain, respecting every difference is a good thing to uphold every difference, this will lead us to something positive.
This village is indeed small, but every house has been painted in colorful colors with rainbow patterns, this makes our eyes fresh, calm, and comfortable when we see it, besides that, this village also has quite complete facilities, such as schools, places of worship, village markets and several other facilities, but those are general needs, if we want to find more, we can travel about 1 and a half hours to the city center.
At that time we also had time to stop at a stall in this village to rest, just to drink and interact with the residents of the rainbow village, but we did not rest for long, because we had to really keep our time so as not to waste it. After resting enough, we immediately rushed to continue the journey.
And what's even more interesting is that this village is located quite close to the tawar sea, so we can see a lot of beauty, starting from the uniqueness of this village, the towering mountains, and the beauty of the tawar sea, it's truly amazing.
This journey is still quite far, but stopping for a moment on the side of the road is not a bad thing, there is a lot of natural beauty that I think is highly recommended to be captured, even the road is quite beautiful to pass through.
Pine trees are one of the trees that are often seen in the mountains here, the weather is indeed very hot, but that does not make me tired to capture this beautiful moment. Believe me, when we cross this road, we can see the beauty of the mountains on the right side of the road and the beauty of the tawar sea on the left side of the road.
There are even some points on the road that are right on the edge of the tawar sea, and it even looks a little scary if we look at that side and imagine silly things. However, that is why we have to be very careful in every activity we do.To be honest, this freshwater sea view is quite interesting in my eyes, so I don't mind taking pictures of its beauty from several different places.
This is my second time to travel around the tawar sea, but I can't say for sure how long it will take to complete it, but time is precious.
