Hola a todos, buenas tardes. Me estoy integrando a esta iniciativa tan interesante gracias a la invitación que me hizo mi amiga @brujita18. El tema de la adopción tiene mucho de qué hablar, iniciando por los valores como el amor, el respeto, y la responsabilidad, que deben formar parte del proceso, y por ahí sigue la larga lista. De la adopción de criptos no entiendo mucho, deduzco se hace referencia, por ejemplo, que al ser parte de la familia Hive, ya estoy adoptando una criptomoneda en mi vida, que es el Hive, y por ser usuaria de la pasarela de cambio Orinoco, también adopté el Néctar en mi cotidianidad… hasta ahí entiendo el contexto.
Me iré más hacia la adopción de criaturas inocentes como el caso de los niños y las mascotas, específicamente las mascotas porque es un tema que manejo más de cerca. Resumiendo un poco, si hablamos de adoptar un bebé, o un niño, es totalmente lógico que por tratarse de un acto de amor, se está creando un vínculo y por ende un compromiso muy delicado con una vida, igualmente como si se tratara de un niño que venga de nuestro vientre; el ser biológico o adoptivo no hace ninguna diferencia a la hora de dedicarles la atención, cuidados, alimentación, estudios, protección, amor, y todo lo que se le brinda a nuestros hijos paridos.
Y enfocándome por completo en la adopción de mascotas, de antemano quiero expresar que respeto todas las opiniones y criterios, más los míos los hago desde mi corazón y mi experiencia personal. He convivido por largos años con perritos y gatitos rescatados y adoptados, he visto sus caritas de sufrimiento por el abandono, el hambre y el dolor de sus cuerpitos, conozco de cerca la labor de las proteccionistas y cómo a través de un seguimiento tras una adopción, han terminado retirando el animalito de sus adoptantes por hacerlos víctimas de maltrato animal.
¿Qué sucede? Que esos inocentes no tienen voz para expresar su maltrato, más que las acciones físicas capturadas o muestras que ya presentan evidentemente después de tanto tiempo siendo maltratados. Ésta es una de las tantas razones por las que hoy en día hay tanto protocolo en la adopción de un animalito rescatado. Toda mi manada es rescatada y adoptada, son 5 en total, y entre ellos hay uno que sobrevivió al maltrato, la sarna y la desnutrición, otro fue abandonado dentro de una caja enfermo con apenas un mes de nacido, otro lo rescatamos de las manos de unos niños que lo estaban ahorcando y tirando piedras cuando contaba con apenas dos meses de nacido, y por ahí siguen las historias… ¡Creo que ya me voy haciendo entender por qué nos cuesta entregar en adopción a un angelito de estos sin hacer seguimiento! Les aseguro que con un niño se hace un monitoreo también, ¿Por qué no hacerlo con un perrito o gatito? Cada quien puede analizar el contexto y sacar sus propias conclusiones.
Las mascotas son seres nobles e inocentes que nos brindan un amor incondicional y puro, eso lo confirmo con hechos, no es hipótesis, es teoría, y mis hijos crecieron con esa misma formación. Mi hija forma parte de un grupo de proteccionistas de la ciudad que encabeza una de las integrantes de Misión Nevado, y las llaman “Las bañaperros”… puedo asegurarles que es el título más bello que ostentan, porque perrito que deambula por la ciudad y se cruza en su camino, lo rescatan, lo curan, lo alimentan, lo bañan, lo ponen bello y comienzan el proceso de buscarle hogar. Las amo cada vez que andan en esta tarea.

Una de las historias más recientes con respecto a la adopción fue el caso de Bombón, que Marián rescató en estado de desnutrición, y posteriormente fue adoptada dos veces y devuelta, porque en el seguimiento ella pudo comprobar que no estaban cumpliendo con el acuerdo de protección a la perrita, por el contrario, en uno de los casos fue víctima de maltrato. Final de la historia, Bombón se quedó con su rescatista.
Esto quiere decir que ellos tienen los mismos derechos de ser protegidos, y si alguien los va a adoptar, que sea para darles un hogar digno y lleno de amor, no para amarrarlos, encerrarlos, o abandonarlos. Ojalá los perritos que compren para regalar a los niños en navidad, no terminen siendo maltratados y abandonados como infinidad de historias que conocemos; y ojalá también, las leyes contra el maltrato animal comiencen a funcionar correctamente para protegerlos de tanta maldad. To summarize a bit, if we are talking about adopting a baby or a child, it is totally logical that because it is an act of love, a bond is being created and therefore a very delicate commitment to a life, just as if it were a child that came from our womb; whether biological or adopted makes no difference when it comes to giving them attention, care, food, education, protection, love, and everything else we give to our own children.
Focusing entirely on pet adoption, I want to say in advance that I respect all opinions and criteria, but mine are based on my heart and personal experience. I have lived for many years with rescued and adopted dogs and cats. I have seen their faces suffering from abandonment, hunger, and pain in their little bodies. I am familiar with the work of animal protectionists and how, through follow-up after adoption, they have ended up removing the animal from its adopters for making them victims of animal abuse.
What happens? These innocent creatures have no voice to express their abuse, other than the physical actions captured on camera or the obvious signs they show after so much time being mistreated. This is one of the many reasons why there are so many protocols in place today for adopting a rescued animal. My entire pack is rescued and adopted, five in total, and among them there is one who survived abuse, scabies, and malnutrition, another who was abandoned in a box, sick and barely a month old, another we rescued from the hands of some children who were strangling him and throwing stones at him when he was barely two months old, and the stories go on... I think you can understand why it's hard for us to give one of these little angels up for adoption without following up! I assure you that we also monitor children, so why not do the same with a puppy or kitten? Everyone can analyze the context and draw their own conclusions.
Pets are noble and innocent beings that give us unconditional and pure love. I can confirm this with facts; it is not a hypothesis or a theory, and my children grew up with this same upbringing. My daughter is part of a group of animal rights activists in the city led by one of the members of Misión Nevado, and they are called “Las bañaperros” (the dog bathers). I can assure you that it is the most beautiful title they hold, because any dog that wanders around the city and crosses their path, they rescue, heal, feed, bathe, make beautiful, and begin the process of finding a home for it. I love them every time they do this work.

One of the most recent stories regarding adoption was the case of Bombón, whom Marián rescued in a state of malnutrition. Hopefully, the dogs that people buy to give to children for Christmas will not end up being mistreated and abandoned, as we know from countless stories; and hopefully, the laws against animal abuse will begin to work properly to protect them from such cruelty.
