Mother Nature's Immortality | Beyond Human - Alien Art Contest Edition 2: Theme (Undying)

For my current mixed media project, I wanted to participate in the new themed contest titled "Beyond Human" in the Alien Art Hive Community organized by @ezuntimmy.

As stated in the contest post, for each round, one theme will be given to create your art based on that theme. The works will be judged and winners announced the next day (process of announcement subject to change depending on certain factors), with a new theme announced the following week.

This week's theme: Undying

According to the contest post, participants are to create any form of alien character of your choice that can not die. It might be a mummy, vampire, an Immortal alien character , a zombie etc Feel free to go wild with your concept, use any style or medium of your choice. Below is my project for this week's theme:

I chose to portray as Undying Mother Nature; a female alien omnipotent force sent to guide and protect the natural environment in a loving and nurturing manner. I can envision Mother Nature with arms as wide as the universe, encompassing all natural elements.

The concept of Mother Nature began as a nurturing, life-giving force—that dates back thousands of years. It was adopted by numerous cultures. She is the personification of the natural world: fertile, producing life, bearing fruit, powerful, and cyclical, just like the seasons and life itself. ¹

I also chose to embody the concept of immortality within Her. For she was in the beginning and will be when we humans are no longer. The undying love for all things nature will continue into perpetuity.

To represent Mother Nature, I chose StarryAI, the stable diffusion program, to create for this project a female worthy of the title of "Mother Nature" in alien form. Her form appears to consist of earth and universal embellishments on her body. Those fiery eyes suggest dominance fused together by knowledge.

My design program I used to blend the various elements with the stable diffusion female image was Canva. I added layers with tools to remove backgrounds, separate different elements from their backgrounds, resize, colorize, filter, duplicate, and reposition items as required.

Additional images chosen reflect Mother Nature surrounded by the natural landscape. One such image is an awesome lush water scene I designed in Nvidia Gaugan. Night Cafe was utilized to retrieve the blue moon. Several pure fractals were included that I designed in the advanced fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X.
