Reflecting on what I've learned about myself in the past years, one major thing stands out: prayers are the key. There were plans I'd laid down years ago, barely moving forward despite my efforts. But last year, something shifted. My husband, children, and I decided to pray and fast over those plans and it worked, dearie. It worked so dearly.
There was one particular problem, known only to my husband and me, that had lingered for years. Guess what? Prayer did it. Not just any prayer, though. It was the family altar prayer that made the difference. Coming together as one, seeking God's favour as a family... it worked a lot for me this past year.
See, my husband and I have prayed together every day since we married with our children,But this past year’s focused, intentional family prayers broke something free. It wasn’t just about praying; it was about uniting as a family to tap into something bigger.
And here's something else: through prayers, I've received mercy from unexpected people. I'm not where I planned to be yet maybe I’d envisioned something different. But one thing’s clear: I’m bigger than where I’m coming from. The journey’s had twists, but prayers have positioned me for more than I’d have managed alone.
It’s like God used those prayers to open doors I didn’t knock on, sent help from quarters I didn’t expect. The outcome,Progress where I’d seen stagnation. Breakthroughs where I’d faced blocks. It affirmed something: when you align with God in prayer, especially as a family, outcomes go beyond human logic.
Prayer, especially with my family, isn’t just a routine; it’s a gamechanger. When plans stalled, prayer unblocked. When problems lingered, prayer cleared paths. I’ll keep leaning into family altar prayers.
Whatever you believe in, no matter your religion, just keep all your faith in God and have a deep faith without doubting.
