Warmer weather is upon us here in Canada 🇨🇦, but would you believe that we have still been experiencing one-digit numbers towards the end of May?! 😱🥶 Warming up, but nature is definitely taking its time to reach that point 😄
So anyway, how do we take advantage of these beautiful days? ☀️ We take family outings to the parks~ We have 4 and 2-year-old daughters -- the perfect age to experience the versatility of the neighborhood parks!
Most of the parks come equipped with splash pads, but again, given that the temperature hasn't been ideal, the girls haven't been able to enjoy them yet...
Aside from the playground, the parks also come equipped with "rides" that are powered by you! 😄 Teeter-totters, spinning chairs -- pictured here are dinosaurs that you can rock back and forth 🦖
I tried taking our youngest daughter on this ride for the first time, but I don't think she is at the age to fully enjoy it yet...
The swings are a must as well, obviously 😏 As a child, the swings were always my favorite part of going to the park.
We were making our way back home, when our oldest daughter happened to spot something along the way...
Some graffiti!~ 😃 There was some lovely wall graffiti of printed wings on the wall. She was in love 😍
We decided to go back to another park during the evening. Obviously there were no complaints, and I think the girls had a wonderful time 🥰
More swings!~
Before we left, I wrote our oldest daughter's name in the wood chips. She gets very excited when she sees her name, and couldn't wait to take a picture standing next to it 😂
