Well, friends, hello again.
I didn't go to the office today, I'm working from home today. This means that in the morning I took the dog with me and went for a walk with it.And, of course, I took a walk towards the river. Spring. I need to look at the river, listen to the birds that have already arrived from warmer climes.
Spring is developing quickly and you can not skip its main steps.
And, most importantly, the dog has a lot of accumulated energy that it needs to use up. On Tuesday, she broke the chain and tried to escape, but the chain successfully snagged and the escape was stopped.
I don't remember seeing those bumps last week. All these swamp hummocks were under the snow and looked like a flat white field. The snow has melted and the landscape has stopped being monotonous white. Gulls nest in this place every spring, but last year the gulls did not sit here because there was little water. I think that this year there will be silence in the swamp and the bird market will not open - there will be little snow and little water.
On Sunday, my neighbor was worried that the off-roaders had ruined the road with their SUVs. What do we have today? I walked half the way across the open ground, without snow. Now there is another concern - in a few days, these SUVs may no longer be kneading snow, but thawed earth. That's when they'll definitely ruin the road.
I took a third photo from the same location with the same model. Now there is open water on the river. And the seagulls are already flying. I predicted it by Saturday.
Such an interesting tree. All the branches grow from the south side. The other side of the trunk is bare.
This is really an extreme fisherman.
I understand that in this place, standing water and ice from below are not washed away by water. But it seems to me that the small fish that the fisherman is trying to catch is not worth the fisherman's life. Of course, it's shallow in this place, a fisherman won't drown if he falls through the ice, but the water is cold and there won't be much pleasure from swimming.
Willow is the first flowering tree in our area.
The droplets of yesterday's rain froze overnight, but are already starting to melt.
Well, I went to complete the circle and go home.
Nora tricked me today and didn't go home. She walked down the street without me for another 3 hours and didn't want to let me near her.
Actually, today turned out to be an abnormal, stressful day. But that's another story.
Friends, goodbye! Until the next walk.
Well. I wish all my friends, observers, and readers wonderful walks on Wednesdays. And also on Sundays and any other day!
Thanks for reading...
