In our society today, charity works and donations have been made easy and accessible , especially through social media platforms, through the media, we find organizations that are trusted to donate and render helps to Non governmental organizations, who reach out to orphans, people with severe health issues and less privileged ones , by creating videos and pleading politely for help , charity and donation.
These donations are appreciated no matter how little they come, and at the end of the day a need is meet, an impact would be made in the life of a person who have almost lost hope , a second chance would be given to someone who have given up .
It really creates a sense of happiness and fulfillment to the givers and the recipient, when these donations are made to create an impact.
The most amazing part of charity and giving in today's world is the fact the everyone can participate now, you don't need to have the world or so many riches to reach out to people, because little amounts from many people, could raise a huge amount of money, that's amazing, and a positive way to team up.
Even when you don't have the money to help, your skills would be beneficial, your resources and even help would also be beneficial.
What's really painful and disheartening, is that most people now use this donations and charity done by others,for personal achievements, because of greed and selfishness.
Just like we have the good eggs, in a crate, we also have the bad eggs, but that doesn't mean that all the eggs are bad too.
There are people who are very genuine with donations given to them for charity and there are those who uses it to enrich themselves, I have seen good results and also bad results.
Some weeks ago , I saw a video of a girl, who is disabled, and due to her condition, she was raped and impregnated by an unknown person, and with the help of donations, she was given a better life and supplies for her baby, the evidence of the donation was seen and appreciate by all, because it was posted on the media for all to see, and the content creator even gave an address for those who would love to see for themselves
This is good story and it's very encouraging, while watching the video, I told my colleague, that this is the right place to pay tithe, because I opened her page and saw that she should be trusted, she is really using the money donated for charity positively, with evidence to show for it.
Before the end of that particular week, I also saw a video of a woman, who was running an orphanage home, and have gotten supports from people around the world, but she wasn't caring for the kids, the kids looked Malnourished, they wore torn clothes , they don't go to school and they were constantly beaten by this woman, meanwhile her son was looking so fat, with a protruded tummy during the interrogation, it was so obviously that she have been feeding herself and her child and leaving the helpless children to starve.
In my opinion, after contributing or donating to help, you are entitled to an evidence that your money served a purpose, and if you aren't getting an evidence it's not also wrong to go for investigation, because most individuals uses charity organizations and donations to steal money from good hearted people, and that is totally unacceptable .
I makes donations, expecially health related donations, it's usually painful to see people going through severe damages, affecting vital organs, I'm always moved to donate, because it tears my heart to see human go through pain to survive.
