Trying to live up to societal standards or conforming to societal pressure is a very dangerous way to live in today's society, because trying to live up to societal standards will lead to constant pressure and self doubt.
We live in a society with so much standard, standards that meeting or living up to will cause severe effects.
Trying to live up to societal standards is a sure way loss your identity, and have self doubts , we live in a society where there are alot of expectations from the society, and most of this standards are unrealistic .
A society that compares an honest hustler to a fraudster, expecting them to have same financial capability , expecting them to afford same lifestyle and luxury and when an honest hustler can't afford such life, they broke shame them and make them feel worthless, for not living above their income.
It's really unrealistic to expect a corporate worker or business owner, to live like a thieves , not plan themselves and try to please others people.
We live in a society that expect people to live above their daily income, forgeting and ignoring the difficult reality, the minimal wage, the back and forth of the countries economy, and so many challenges, they expect you to spend and live above your income, which leads to so much pressure and self doubts, especially amongst youths .
A society that we struggle to fit in , survive and get the best out of life,by hustling and putting in our very best to achieve and create a good life, the least worries should be trying to fit in or live up to societal standards that aren't attainable and mostly unrealistic.
We live in a society that expect young people to make it and be wealthy instantly, without labour or deligence , they just want us to live large, be it legal or illegal, what matters the most to them is that you are able to pay their bills, live large and sponsor expensive lifestyles at a very young age, they all forget that there are stages in life, and because other young youth were able to take certain risk or scam then others don't have an excuse or are seen as weak.
A society that respect people base on their wealth and financial capability, not even by their values, these days people will fellow a man with wealth, regardless of the source of such wealth, than a man of value, or a hardworking fellow.
A society that can be bias and easily corrupt due to financial benefits.
A societal standards that believes everyone is suppose to progress at a certain age or same age , they discredit the fact that people have different dreams, pace, priorities and plans for life, but rather put pressure on a man who haven't achieved certain things at a particular age, a society that fixes a particular age and expect everyone to be successful, marry, graduates and make it big at that particular age, forgetting that during the course of life, there are stages, different experiences and path in life. A society that abuses or places pressure on a man or woman for not meeting up to their expectations.
