The relationship between the celebrities and their fans cannot be overemphasized as most of the fans admires the one they love with passion and even atimes, they are willing to lay down their life for the one they cherish with passion. Though, the celebrities are also human like every other persons, but because of their fame they tend to become idols whom others worship as small gods.
Being a celebrity takes a lot of sacrifices and one of the sacrifices to be paid is that, their lives, I mean the lives of the celebrities are no longer theirs as every of their actions are always in the public space in the twinkle of an eyes. So, for this reasons, they are tends to be exposed on any of their action. One thing I will like to say here is that, fame is good, but maintaining fame is a huge task for one who has became famous in his or her field.
So, in the act of maintaining this fame, some of the superstars or celebrities always turned out to be someone else and this is when people, mostly their fans used to have the feelings that they (the celebrities) are arrogant or not humble enough in their relationship with them. To me and from my little experience, thinking in such a way about your idol or superstar might not be the absolute truth and this is because of the security reasons attached to it. Though, some of them are arrogant and may not even pay much attention to the yearnings of their fans, but in most cases, there's reasons attached to such acts that people misjudged against them.
Atimes, most of the superstars are also trying to save themselves from the aggressiveness of their fans which to me, is the best form of protection and this is why most of them move around with bouncers and security personnel. When talking about the aggressiveness of the fans, some of the fans, because of their love for their idol can go to any length to trying to seeing and taking shots with them whenever they come to town and in doing this, the life of the superstar can be in great danger. Though it's good to celebrate and show love to one's idol, but not all that were trying to celebrate with them at once have good intention. And when these people are being barred from coming near, they have this kind of bad impression about their idols.
Also, in most cases musical concerts are being canceled just because of the security concerns and issues that may emanated from such concerts. I have seen concerts being canceled because of this in my country Nigeria, some years back, a famous singer, refused to honor his concert even when ticket has been sold out for the reason best known to him. When he failed to showed up, his fans were angry, but I think he later came out to apologize for his non appearance at the events. Such happens for reasons best known to him and his management.
I have also seen a superstar molesting and embarrassing his fans, this happened in a concert when after the concert, the fans were trying to take a shot with her hero, but instead of the superstar giving her audience, he asked his bouncers to bundle her out, this should not be, as his fame was build on the love of his fans.
I have seen in football matches where and when fans invaded the pitch just to meet and take shot with their football idols, these are normal, though some were given the opportunity to enjoy the privilege while some were being arrested and ruffled out of the field of play by the stewards or security. All these are normal, but on which side of the coin you may find yourself, take it as it comes and don't be aggressive, just continue enjoying and loving your idol.
Though, the celebrities also have their bad sides, as some are arrogant like I have said earlier, but to the fans too, they must know that, celebrities are also human and must take them for that, so, looking and concentrating on their mistakes might not be the best option atimes as some of the superstars are laced with weakness, but instead of pay rapt attention about their mistakes, why can't we the fans continue to enjoy what makes them dear to us, doing this will make us love them the more.
One thing I want us all to know is that, we are the one making them to be called superstars, so, we must avoid bringing them down and not only that, one thing that's for sure is that, not everyone will meet his or her idol, so, if you're are able to meet your idol, show him or her love and if you're unable to meet her, don't be annoyed, but keep on enjoying his or her brand and whe he or she knows how to do best.
