Hi guys, Hope you all are well. I'm back in this community after a week and this post is for the Creative-Sunday Contest. Some of you may know that last time I did a drawing of a bird singing on a tree and it was very cute and neat. Today the sunshine is good so I decided to make a clay object and this is the first time I have made a clay object and I tried my best to make it realistic and attractive. I hope you will like my clay ice cream. Let's start with the procedure.
Procedure
First I collected smooth clay from the fields because it is easier to make things with smooth clay. First I wet the clay a little and spread it on a plate and then with the back side of the brush I sketched a cup of ice cream on it.
After making the outline of the ice cream, I removed the excess clay with a knife and it was very difficult. I carefully separated the clay so not to damage the ice cream. After making the ice-cream I kept it in the sunshine to dry so it would be easier to paint.
It took about four hours to dry and then I started the process of painting it. First I mixed yellow, blue and red to make a chocolate flavor color. Mixing colors to create a specific color is a very satisfying process.
I added four different flavors in this ice cream, mango flavor, chocolate flavor, strawberry flavor and blueberry flavor. The first three flavors are my favorite. I didn't paint the yellow color clearly and I'm sorry about that, but it doesn't look too bad either.
In the cup and stick I filled white color and made green dots on the top of the cup which enhances the beauty of the cup. I'm not very good at using painting colors but I'm glad I filled it with beautifully and I tried my best to make it neat and attractive.
Finally I filled the cherry with green and red color and a little white to make it realistic and I kept it in the sunshine for five minutes. I spent about an hour and a half making it and had a lot of fun making it. Hope you like my cup of ice cream and I will be waiting for your feedback.
