Technology is being nice in the aspect of providing phones for us to use. We all have got friends but there are times when everyone may be busy with their lives and the best thing to do is stay glued to our phones doing various things. Some of us may decide to check social networks, play games, play music, watch movies or do any other thing. The good aspect of phones is that we can do so many things on them.
Unfortunately, someone like me does not have enough time to check social media, play games or even watch movies but I still make sure that I don’t deprive myself from having fun in these three ways so I usually set a time for everything.
At the same time, some of us have got laptops which does basically 80% of things a phone can do. That’s even the best gadget some people love to use when visiting social media.
How much time do I spend on my screens everyday?
Firstly, my laptop got spoilt a long time ago so I haven’t gotten another one since then. I don’t have enough funds for it so it is on a hold.
Secondly, my phone is basically the only gadget that I use to do my things including typing and all. I have an offline job which is taking so much of my time and makes me have less time for my phone and when I get hold of my phone, I just check the important applications and do other important things like visit Ecency which is usually the major thing on my list, WhatsApp which is my major communication platform, Instagram to check if Wizkid has posted, MetaTrader to check my trades and lastly my call log to call at least one person daily.
These are the things I do and then get to sleep or at most, watch some comedy videos on YouTube before bedtime. Checking my phone now, I realized that the average time I spend on my phone each day is…

**How do I know if I’ve had enough?
I know if I’ve had enough when I’ve completed my daily tasks. I mentioned there the apps that I check daily and once I’m done with them, I usually don’t do any other thing. I may watch some comedy videos though but not dedicate so much time to it. Once I’ve finished my daily tasks, I know I’m fulfilled and I’ve had enough.
Unfortunately, there are times when I don’t get to finish my daily tasks but once my eyes begin to ache me due to looking at the screen too much, I stop whatever I’m doing and continue on the next day.
The tips I have for those who want to reduce their screen time
I’m sure we all do important things on our phones so we just have to set our priorities right.
We have to do the most important things first and then put others behind. That way, you’d know you’re fulfilled and when you’re tired of pressing the phone, you’d stop it without having to think about some particular tasks that you have not done.
