So far we are still a living being, learning is a continuous process, I believe no one is an island of knowledge we all tend to learn from those we come across in life and from the situation of life.
Life is filled with both ups and downs which everyone must surely learn from, likewise we meet a lot of people that are beneficial to one's life that we pray never to lose such fellow while there are those that we pray never to meet again in life because of the negative impact they have in one's life.
I have learned a lot from people I came across and still learning from those I've met recently and today I will be talking about the great lessons I have learned so far from an angel God sent to me since I was a teenager.
While growing up, I was privileged to encounter a youth pastor that was transferred to my church who has serve as my guardian up till this moment. My church is into various sessions according to age groups. There is a session for the Children, the teenagers, the youth (Chapel) and the Adult church for the mummies and daddies.
Once a child finishes from high school, he or she will start attending the Chapel so as to mingle with students in the tertiary institutions and learn one or two things from them before taking entrance examination. So a year after I joined the Chapel was when this amazing angel from God was transferred to pastor our chapel. He and his wife mentored me to the extent that those that didn't know my family thought my pastor was my elder brother.
While growing up I was very stubborn and doesn't like asking people for help. I preferred to be in pain than to talk with people cause I believe I can sort myself out without people's help, so most times I'm always alone and do my thing differently.
I was part of the sanitation department so he picked only me to be cleaning his office anytime I'm in church for cleaning, so through the cleaning he got to know me more and I think he studied my nature from there. We got talking and everything turn around for my good. I became his personal assistant, even people had to go through me to do some things for him.
There are several lessons I learned from him and still learning till date because myself and his family with my family are now like 5&6. Most times he will call me to his office and advise me to trend softly with life, he also taught me how to caution my mouth and not to be swift in giving someone replies. He was the one that also taught me how to study the human mind through the help of some books he gave me to read.
According to him, whenever I want to do something, I must put in my best so as to achieve my aim. He also taught me the importance of ones parents & siblings; and how to put my family in mind and carry them along in all things I do.
In fact, God really used the man for me and I can't thank God enough for letting our paths cross because I believe his transfer to my church was solely for my good. His advice has been helping me out in life and once I encounter any challenges now, I quickly call him on phone and once he speaks to me I'm rest assured. I pray my guiding angel in human form lives long to reap the fruits of all his labour in my life.
