Being consistent on a weekly project for 100 weeks is a landmark worth celebrating. I must commend the brains behind the community for not just providing such a platform but continually providing the required leadership to keep improving the community week in week out. I need to also congratulate the amazing authors who never get tired of sharing their experiences with us in this community mostly through the featured editions.

Many times, the contents I read in these editions helped me add to my pool of knowledge. Many writers infuse their culture into their writings and that afforded me to travel around some places on the planet through reading. I can tell you that this is amazing to me.

One way of learning is to learn from people's mistakes in order to avoid making a similar mistake. With this, I have read many stories in the featured editions that helped me shape my steps and decisions better.

I joined the community less than 50 weeks ago and my experience has made me wish that I joined the community earlier. Though I joined hive about a year earlier, my less than a year stay in hive learners community has contributed to more than 70% of my growth on the blockchain. My posts and interactions with other amiable members of the community aided such achievement.

In all of the posts that I have written for the featured editions, I may find it difficult to select just one among numerous others that really connected me on an emotional level. However, among the list of such posts, I have one that really got me emotional. It is the topic that asked authors to talk about one's circle of influence.

In my post titled my supporters and pillars, I reflected on the people that were instrumental to get me where I am now. The memories of my late father who sacrificed a lot for me and that of my late sister were all over me. I missed them so much and I still do. The topic gave me the opportunity to pour out my mind in the form of tribute and this helped me in my healing process.

In the course of writing the topics in the past weeks, I found it easy to flow with some effortlessly. I would even be controlling my style of writing in order not to overboarden readers with long article. One of such topic was the one that required writers to look ahead into 2024 and pick one event that one is looking forward to.

I wrote a post titled October 2024: the time is ripe which talked about the donation of a borehole to a community lacking potable water in my hometown. This is an event that I am looking forward to. I joined forces with other like minds to save the money and provide succor to the people. We schedule this for October and I can't wait for that time to put smiles on the faces of both young and old that trek for kilometers in search of water.

On the other hand, the topic that I found a little difficult to write about was the one that required writers to talk about their preferences in applying filters to pictures after taking them. Though, I have my opinion regarding the topic but I was skeptical in presenting it so that I wouldn't hurt the feelings of some people who might not like my way of presenting it. I don't like applying filters and my reasons may sound hurtful to those that do apply it. In order not to disrespect anyone's feelings, I was in dilemma on how to present the writeup. I had to go and read some entries and from them, I gathered some clues in presenting my opinion with utmost respect to others. The post later came out nice.

My experience with this great community and the featured editions of blogging topics has been amazing and I look forward to another engaging, fun filled 100 weeks and more to come.
