The journey of a thousand miles indeed begins with a step and it's amazing to see this beautiful community reach a new milestone with the weekly prompt topic. This week marks the 100th since the Hive Learners community has been posting the weekly prompt and it's a huge achievement for all staff and members of this great community.
I am excited just like every member of the community and it means a lot to be part of the journey. The Hive Learners community is a home for many members of this great platform and we just love it there for many reasons.
The community is a place to learn and interact, the moderators and members encourage growth which is why the community is accomplishing great things from time to time.
Pouring my heart into every post is another thing we enjoy as members because the community is a haven for many of us. The community isn't just run by the moderators, every member plays a huge part in what the community has become today.
I have met so many people through the community; for some members, we just engage and interact here while my relationship with some members has grown completely out of just Hive friendship.
Today, I am celebrating with every member of the community for the successful completion of the 100th week of posting prompt topics. 100 weeks of memories sounds perfect for this week's celebration and if we look deeply, it's indeed a journey filled with lots of memories.
Personally, I have a lot to share but I will just keep things as simple as possible. I remember when I first came across the HL community, I found the members really inspirational because of how engage with one another. I was struggling as a newbie and decided to be part of HL; I can confidently say that they impacted me more than I ever imagined.
A Tiny Man's Journey To Redemption is one of my favourite articles I published on hive. Anyone who interacts well with my blog would know how much I love writing stories, I enjoy doing it and when Hive Learner's prompt that week said "write a story," I was so happy. It was quite easy for me as a story writer to come up with something for the prompt and it was fun engaging with other entries from members of the community.
I doubt if we have written a fictional story before and I pour a lot of emotions into the story that day. It was fun writing it and I felt glad that I was able to pass a vital message to other members of the community with the story. We haven't written another since then and I would love to write more fiction stories as an HL prompt.
Many of the HL prompts got me really emotional and there were memories I had to dig out for these prompts. Although it was just a prompt and I could I chosen to write something but I didn't.
I believe that everything we have been through in life is for a reason and one of the reasons why we experienced these things is to also educate people. I always share my life experiences just to make people learn one or two things and I have no regrets.
Surviving Through Helpless Times; Embracing Resilience & Empathy was one article that made me glance back at my journey through life and for some minutes, I couldn't help but breakdown into tears.
Life hasn't been fair to anyone because even the rich have their struggles. Many of us came from nothing but here we are today trying to turn our stories around for good.
In the post, I shared about my journey up to this very moment in life. The challenges I encountered and how I paved through with the help of God, it wasn't an easy journey but it's worth sharing.
From Crossing Borders As A Pilot To Crossing Borders As A Writer.
One of the HL prompts for that week required us to share about our childhood dream and it was really a funny one. As simple as it was, I found it quite challenging because I had multiple dreams as a child and I needed just one.
Among these dreams back then, one was very important to me and I did a lot just to make this dream come through but it didn't. Although things didn't work as planned but today, I have somehow accomplished the dream with the help of Hive.
