Out of all my siblings, I'm the only one that looks different from the others. My elder brother looks so much like my dad, and my younger sister looks so much like my mum, we call her the younger version of my mum.
I don't look like any of them but they say I look like my maternal grandfather. Since I didn't meet him alive, I wouldn't know how true the statement is.
Apart from looks, I'm my father and my mother's daughter. Every of my trait, I got from them. I think these things just have a way of transferring from one generation to another. I wouldn't know if it's also in the genes or because they were the ones that raised me.
I got my gentility from my Mum, that woman is so gentle. She just wants to go about her business during the day and be with her family in the evenings. I and my siblings are my mum's friends. I never saw her have an altercation with anyone even in her line of business. She just wants peace and for everyone to be happy. She doesn't cross her boundary and respect everyone including children. The first description of her from friends and neighbors is "she is a gentle woman."
I'm also a very gentle lady. I hate anything called altercation. I don't like trouble and I have very very few friends. I just want to do my own thing and avoid trouble. If you're looking for anyone that always want to avoid trouble and make peace, that's me and I got it from my mum.
I got my resilience from my dad. My dad is a very resilient man. It does not matter how many times he falls down he gets up stronger and better. He has been pushed down a number of times even from his colleagues and superiors as a star boy that he his😎, the man always gets up stronger.
Some years back after his retirement, my dad got really sick, that everyone thought he would die except him. He was on his sick bed, still making plans for his farm.
But unfortunately, a lot happened and he lost a huge sume of money still on his sick bed. The loss still didn't make him lose faith. It was just like a miracle, when he started recovering. Little by little, he started walking again and off he went back to his business.
With all the money lost when he was sick, he started over, before we knew it, his farm took off again. Everyone was surprised. I got it from him. I never give up especially on myself. No matter how many times I fail I do better the next time. Giving up is not for me. I don't give up on my goals and I will never give up. A lot has happened to this small that should have broken me but it rather made me stronger because I don't see these issues as a problem but as challenges that I need to overcome.
