Hello everyone
I hope you all are doing fine. I have been participating in the hive prompts which are quite interesting. This time the topic is really nice and that's why i decided to share my story here. I have came across these kind of situations many times but i will share the most terrifying one here.
Like there was a time when i was in an veterinary hospital and a dog barked at me so loud, even though the dog was behind the bars but still that bark was enough to scare. Also there was a time when i was crossing the fields and a snake was lying there but on close inspection i found it was a dead one. But the real one comes now, so hold your breaths.

It was around noon, and Eid was approaching. I needed to pick up my clothes from the tailor for the eid celebration. So, I took my friend Shahzaib along, and we both headed towards the tailor's shop. The shop was a bit far from my house, and the sun was blazing, making the heat unbearable.
When we reached the tailor, he told us that the clothes weren't ready yet and to come back the next day. Frustrated but helpless, we had no choice but to comply since tailors can be quite demanding during Eid season. As we were about to leave, Shahzaib suggested taking a different route home, through the narrow streets instead of the open field-like path we had come from, to avoid the scorching heat
I agreed, and we went into the streets of my town. One thing I despised about our village was the abundance of dogs in almost every household. Regardless of whether there was food in the house, a dog was always present. Silently, I prayed for no unfortunate incident, especially since it was noon and the streets were deserted. If a dog were to chase us, there would be no one to help.
As we turned into a street, I spotted my aunt's house and remembered the terrifying dog in the house opposite hers. Fortunately, they usually kept their gate closed because they also know about the wilderness of their sweet dog, so we walked by calmly. Just as we approached my aunt's gate, Shahzaib suddenly shouted, "Ahmed, run!"
I was bewildered, not understanding what was happening, until I heard the menacing bark of the dog and its approaching footsteps. If you've ever experienced such a situation, you know how terrifying that sound can be. Panicked, we both broke into a sprint, not thinking of seeking refuge in my aunt's house. Actually it wasn't a situation where we should think about any solution, the only solution was to sprint.

In my pocket were my phone and wallet, which fell during our frantic run. Shahzaib lost a shoe. It wasn't that we managed to outrun the dog; village dogs have their territory, and they don't go beyond it. The dog chased us to the end of the street, then turned back. Exhausted, Shahzaib and I collapsed in a nearby shop to catch our breath.
After a while, we returned to pick up our fallen belongings. When we returned back home there happened another interesting thing with me 😄. I was narrating the story to my brother and when i reached the part where my belongings fell, my brother irrespective of the situation or my condition hustled to ask "do you have your phone alright". I just took a pause there and told him about what was precious to him :(.
There were so many suggestions like if you could have stopped instead of running the dog shouldn't have chased you. When you ran he thought that you are thieves and blah blah but the truth is no one was understanding our situation because we had nothing to think about at the moment but just run, run and run
Well, that's all from my side.
GOODLUCK AND BEST WISHES 👌
